Shipping

Shipment of the gecko will not occur until the payment has been deposited successfully. 

 

We charge the buyer the actual shipping fee rounded up to the next whole number. Shipping costs can vary based on the dimensions, weight, and destination of the package. Shipping is done through ShipYourReptiles.com. We will only ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid shipping delays. 

 

Shipping as of now can only be done within the lower 48 states of the United States.

 

Once the gecko is paid in full, we are able to ship your animal at your convenience. With the weather in mind. we will only ship animals within a range of 40°F to 80°F (departure and arrival temperatures) to ensure a safe arrival; we will include a cold pack as necessary. We personally do not use heat packs as they have too much risk involved.

Payment Plans

Payment plans are an option that is offered to the benefit of the customer. In order to hold a gecko, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be placed on the gecko. The deposit is 25% of the gecko's listed price, and does not include the shipping; this makes the deposit cheaper! 

 

Payment plans can be arranged for any gecko above $100. Special requests for geckos under that value MAY be arranged depending on the circumstances, but not guaranteed. I offer two week and one month payment plans as they are the most popular. Again, other special requests may be accepted for longer payment options. 

 

If the buyer does not wish to do a payment plan, the buyer has 3 days to pay for the gecko once the deposit has been placed. If the buyer does not pay for the gecko in full within the week, two week, or one month period, the gecko will be listed for sale again, and the deposit will not be refunded.

 

Any payment placed on the gecko aside from the deposit will be transferred to credit towards any future purchase. 

No geckos will be placed on hold without a deposit.

 

Guarantees

Geckos are guarenteed to arrive at the buyer's door alive and healthy. 

 

If the gecko arrives with any physical imperfections the buyer must let us know within 24 hours of the gecko arriving. If we are not notified within this time period we will assume your gecko is in healthy condition.

 

If the gecko arrives deceased, the buyer must provide photo proof within 1 hour of the delivery in order to receive store credit or a replacement. This guarantee is void if no one was there to sign for the package when it was delivered.

 

Dropped tails sometimes occur during the shipping process and other stressful situations; a dropped tail does not change the gecko's health in any way. If the tail has been dropped, please contact us with any questions regarding the healing process. During the shipment of the gecko, the buyer accepts the risk of tail loss.

 

Gecko's listed as probable male/female are not a guarantee. Geckos listed as male or female however, are guaranteed. We sex with a 50x loupe. 

 

Our health guarentee will be valid throughout a one week period. If the animal becomes sick during this period, we must be contacted in order to arrange the shipment back of the animal or other arrangements.

 

Our health guarantee does not include injuries in fault of the buyer. 

 

Resale Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change and you come to the point of selling the gecko. 

 

The only thing we ask of you is that you offer the gecko back to us for your asking price before putting it up for public sale. Sometimes we may find a need to have that gecko back in our collection if you decide to sell it. 

 

Contests

When a gecko is given away as part of a contest these terms will also apply.

If there is an issue with the arrival or the health of the contest gecko, it is the buyer's responsibility to contact us with the concern. After that has happened we will be glad to work with you in part of your concern.
